The 2011 ISAF Youth Worlds will be held in Zadar, Croatia  this July and will play host to over fifty competitive nations from around the globe including Ireland. The Irish team to compete at the prestigious event will be selected using a two stage process. The first step involves winning the domestic trials in Ireland this Spring and the second step requires a sailor to prove their international standard at one overseas event.

The domestic trial for the 420 and laser radial classes will task the challengers to win out over their competitors at the ISA Mitsubishi Youth National Championships 2011 (29th April- 2nd May, Dun Laoghaire Co. Dublin). With Dun Laoghaire playing host to the upcoming 2012 ISAF Youth World Championship the various young runners and riders will be given the chance to experience top level racing on the same waters that they may just be competing in again in 2012.
The NOR and entry system for the ISA Mitsubishi Youth National Championships 2011 will be published very shortly.

Please see here for Guidelines for the Nomination and Selection 2011.
