ISAF Annual Conference


Today marks the beginning of the ISAF Annual Conference. Over the next 10 days 700 delegates and observers from 120 nations will attend meetings in Dun Laoghaire where decisions such as choosing the classes for the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 will be made.

The Gathering Cruise



The ISA is delighted to announce 'The Gathering Cruise' an exciting new sailing event which the ISA will run in conjunction with the Irish Marine Federation as part of The Gathering Ireland 2013.

The Gathering Cruise will provide the Irish diaspora with a unique opportunity with which to visit Ireland and experience its beautiful coastline and coastal towns. Our goal is to get over 100 boats from Ireland, the UK, Europe & America to cruise the east and south coasts of Ireland together culminating in a party in Kinsale.

We want you to spread the word by inviting friends or relatives living abroad to join you back in Ireland for this unique and exciting event.

Dun Laoghaire Access Sailing Programme



Dun Laoghaire Access Sailing have just announced their preliminary programme for the summer 2013 for children aged 8 to 17 with physical and sensorial disabilities. No sailing experience is necessary and the programme is open to all.

IUSA Eastern Championships



It was the Alumni team who emerged victorious at Wexford Harbour Boat and Tennis Club for the first of five Irish University Sailing Association events.

Bella Morehead & Aidan McLaverty, Billy Clarke & Sonia Minihan and Conor Martin & Christine Lynch beat the 1st Team from University of Limerick 2-0 in the final.

ISA Awards Ball
The ISA 7th Annual National Conference and Awards Ball will take place in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin on the 2nd of March 2013.


Sail Spree
The ISA’s nationwide initiative to encourage people of all ages to get together in their local community and discover the thrill of either sailing, windsurfing, powerboating or jet skiing.
Taking place over the 2013 May bank holiday weekend.
