Over 60 boats and 200 sailors from Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Germany, Finland, France, Portugal, Denmark and Monaco as well as strong fleets from both Ireland and the UK are in Kinsale today preparing for the Brewin Dolphin Dragon Gold Cup. The sailors have registration today, a practice race and opening reception tomorrow before racing kicks off on Sunday.
Last year the Cup was won by the Royal St George’s Martin Byrne and most recently the Dragon South Coast Championships was won by Kinsale Yacht Club’s Cameron Good. We’ll be hoping the Cup stays in Ireland for another year!
You can follow the racing live across online and social media. The ISA will also be in Kinsale for the week updating its online and social media.
