Dun Laoghaire sailor Alan Green, crewing with Charles Apthorp, took bronze at the Flying Fifteen European Championship at Fraglia vela Riva.  

NYC clubmates John Lavery and David O'Brien finished fifth, after leading in the early stages of the event. Overall winners after nine races were Greg Wells and Richard Rigg of Hayling Island Sailing Club.
