The International Finn Association is pleased to announce the publication of the April 2011 issue of its official magazine FINNFARE.
In this issue there are a number of interesting features and articles as well as extensive results and reports from most of the major regattas.
Vasiliy Kravchenko on Finn Sailing – an extensive and fascinating interview with the secretary of the Russian Finn Association about how the class has taken off since the 2005 Finn Gold Cup in Moscow and the effort of the sailors to promote sailing, the Finn class and their events.
A look at the Finn under the water – Mikko Brummer of WB Sails from Helsinki, Finland talks about the pressures, drag balance and sheer stress on the Finn hull from a computer model used to simulate sail performance.
