A European keel-boat team racing circuit is emerging. This form of team racing, for teams of two boats, is fast and spectacular, as boats struggle to avoid that last place that signals defeat for their team. There is every prospect of a European and a World Championship in this emerging discipline. Recent and not so recent graduates, who miss the sporting and social joys of their college team racing days, can now continue to team race at the highest level

International events are being organised this year in Italy, the Netherlands and the UK. Other events are planned, and details are expected soon.Venues seem to be conveniently situated near a low cost airline destination from Dublin. Entry fees have been kept low (approx €50 per person), and usually include dinner on at least one evening.
