Sports Capital Funding 

Following four years of lobbying from the Federation of Irish Sport supported by the ISA, the Sports Capital Programme has been reinstated.

The ISA will continue to lobby on behalf of its members to ensure the money is spent to genuinely promote participation. This includes boats and equipment as well as buildings for our clubs.

The application process is now open to sports organisations and clubs for the development of sports facilities and / or the purchase of sports equipment. 


Win €10,000 For Your Club

Lucozade Sport wants to help 3 Irish sports clubs reach their full potential by rewarding them with an amazing €10,000 cash prize.


ISA Mitsubishi Youth Nationals

Dublin Bay will be a bustle of activity with Canadian, Kiwi, and British youth sailors over the coming weeks as they train for the ISA Mitsubishi Youth National Championships which will be taking place from the 12th to the 15th of April.


ISAF Development Symposium

Following an invitation from the ISA, and support from Howth Yacht Club, the inaugural ISAF Training Symposium was hosted over the weekend of the 17th and 18th of March.


HYC Offers Youth Keelboat Team Opportunity

Howth Yacht Club is giving ten under-25 sailors the opportunity to take the step into keelboat racing at a number of J/24 championships.


Tall Ships Recruiting Volunteers

The Dublin Tall Ships Liaison Team is looking for 150 volunteers to help deliver this fantastic event. 

They are recruiting Volunteer Ship Liaison Officers to ensure smooth sailing from start to finish. Officers will be assigned to ships in order to provide support to Captains and crew and take part in the social and sporting events.


Cork Week

Details of Cork Week 2012 were announced on Wednesday the 28th of March at an event in Cork Harbour Commissioners.


CAI Annual Rally

The Cruising Association of Ireland's Annual Rally will take place from Dun Laoghaire to New Ross from the 14th to the 22nd of July.

These cruises appeal to the experienced sailor who will enjoy the camaraderie and company that a cruise-in-company provides whilst the inexperienced sailor will love the advice and support that travelling with a larger group can offer.
