Agonisingly close for Annalise Murphy but this time she was the wrong side of the points divide. She missed the medal race by one point and so finishes 11th overall. A very strong result for her in the light and tricky regatta. Ryan Seaton and Matt McGovern in the 49er finished up 17th overall.

A positive start to the European season.

Another light and tricky day in Palma. Gold fleet racing means mistakes are punished even more. Annalise scored a 4, 27 but is able to discard the 27 leaving her in 6th overall.

In the 49ers Ryan and Matt finished the day on a high leading the last race from start to finish, this is a big breakthrough for them. They lie 20th.

The 42 Trofeo Princesa Sofia MAPFRE, third event in the ISAF Sailing World Cup, started on Monday in Palma with gruelling conditions, sun and clear blue sky.

A string of top 10's in yesterday's racing has left the Irish competitors well positioned for the start of gold fleet racing.

Annalise Murphy scored a solid 8, 7 leaving her in 9th.

In the 49er Ryan Seaton and Matt McGovern recovered from two poor races to finish out the 4 race day with a 3, 4 which was enough to secure their position in Gold fleet.
