With booking now closed, representatives from ISAF Member National Authorities such as Bulgaria, Spain, France, New Zealand, The United Arab Emirates, The Netherlands, Turkey, Ireland, Poland, South Africa, Russia, Austria, Korea, Iran and Iceland have confirmed that they will be meeting at the Howth Yacht Club in Dublin, Ireland from 17-18 March 2012 for the inaugural ISAF Development Symposium.
The international delegates, chaired by event organiser ISAF Training and Development Manager Dan Jaspers will be supported by a group of ISAF representatives such as Vice President Nazli Imre, Development and Youth Committee Chairman Olivier Bovyn, ISAF nominated experts and the World Youth Sailing Trust Coach as well as invited specialist technical advisors.
At last years ISAF Annual Conference a statement was read out by the ISAF Training and Development Manager during the closing comments section of the Development and Youth Committee meeting. The statement intended to make clear to all present at the meeting in Puerto Rico how ISAF was wishing to work with its members to grow sailing and enable them to better deliver National Training Programmes in all disciplines.
