Sail Melbourne



The ISAF Sailing World Cup Series begins its fourth series in Melbourne, Australia from the 6th to the 12th of November.

Good luck to ISA Olympic Squad members Annalise Murphy in the Laser Radial and Ryan Seaton & Matt McGovern in the 49er and good luck to non-carded Irish sailors Ger Owens and Scott Flanigan in the 470 and James Espey in the Laser.

15 teams have entered with only days to go before the Irish Team Racing Championships take place in the Royal St George Yacht Club.

Run for Mark in the Dark



Take part in this fantastic event in aid of Mark Pollock, first blind man to co-skipper a boat in the Round Ireland Yacht Race who only weeks later fell from a second story window leaving him completely paralysed from the waist down.

A delighted CIT Team finished in 3rd place on the podium behind Euromed Arthur Lloyd France and Solent University, England.

ISA Junior & Girls All Ireland Sailing Championships



Regretfully the ISA had to postpone the ISA Junior & Girls All Ireland Sailing Championships due to a strong southerly forecast exceeding 30 knots. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 26th.

On Thursday 3 November, the world of sailing will gather in San Juan, Puerto Rico to discuss, debate, make recommendations and decisions on the issues and policies that will take sailing forward into 2012.
