About us:
Friendly and informal club founded 1919. The club runs the "Best start to the Weekend" Friday Night League for whites and Kites from May-Aug. May and September leagues also held on Sundays. The Club hosts several open races including Cove at Home, Cobh Peoples Regatta and the Cobh-Blackrock (SCORA) race. The Dinghy Park is at Whitepoint, Cobh where training for Junior members is available on Saturdays. Week courses are available in the Summer and dinghy racing held on Wednesday evenings.

From the N25 take the exit for Fota Island, proceed to the 1st roundabout, take the 3rd exit on this roundabout cross the bridge and take the 1st exit [turn left] at the 2nd roundabout follow this road to the main entrance to Fota wildlife park [ 3kms ] Proceed to the bridge straight ahead turn right after the bridge proceed on this main road to Cobh[ for approx 6 Kms ] on the main road into Cobh take the right turn 1Km outside the town sign posted for the heritage centre, or Whitepoint within 20 meters cross this road and over a small railway bridge, proceed to the left after crossing the bridge down the short hill stay left and proceed to the footbridge overhead. the dinghy park is to your immediate left when you pass under the bridge. This road is also the entrance to a large free car park.

lot's of action both on and off the water. Very much a club effort in all aspects, including volunteering for instructing dinghies every Saturday morning during the summer months Fun for all at cove sailing club.
