Location Co. Donegal

Rathmullan is a small historic seaside town set on the shores of the deep water sheltered Lough Swilly.  Vikings are believed to have cruised these waters and 6 years ago we celebrated the 400th anniversary of the Flight of the Earls.  They sailed from our shores.  In more recent times we have the annual  Rathmullan Regatta every August bank holiday weekend which has been running since 1887 making it one of the oldest annual sailing events in the world.  If you choose to stop in Rathmullan you will be greeted by friendly locals, have access to some fine restaurants and pubs and have the large town of Letterkenny nearby if needs be.
