GPS52* 58 N 006 W
Region East Coast
Location Co. Wicklow

Historic town of Viking origin.  A friendly welcoming sailing club.  Home of the Round Ireland Yacht Race.
Famously known as the Garden of Ireland you could spend some time walking through the stunning Wicklow Mountains National Park which covers approximately 20,000 hectares. Or if local history is more your thing, wander through cells and dungeons at the Wicklow Gaol or the historic ruins at Glendalough. Avoca Handweavers is also another must see. Tour the oldest surviving working mill in Ireland which dates from 1723 and browse the shop which has a beautiful range of clothes and Irish crafts.
