Do we ask the volunteers who have regular contact with children and/or vulnerable adults to send their forms to isa, or to club vetting officer?

If direct, how does know who is vetted?

Forms for Club Volunteers should now be submitted through their organisation as the new form (issued 26.6.14) requires details and signature from a "line manager" ie Centre Principal, Junior Organiser, Vetting Liaison Officer, Commodore etc.

This process ensures that the ISA automatically notifies this person / organisation of the candidates vetting result when it comes in.

Since Instructors and Coaches may not know which organisation they will be working in they can apply directly to ISA.  However, if they do this, we will not automatically inform anyone other than the applicant of the result.

If you need to know if someone has been vetted you may either;
- Ask them for a copy of the letter the ISA sent to them
- Check for the "Passed Garda Vetting" logo on ther Instructor / coach certificate
- Contact Sylwia or Nuala in the ISA Office
