As part of the service from the Regional Development Office your Club or Centre may benefit from having one of the following Courses ran in your facilities, Free of Charge, at a convenient time to your members and tailored to suit your own specific needs.
The Courses provided are as follows:
1. Code of Ethics Course
This course is the official Irish Sports Council 3hr Basic Awareness Course that is strongly recommended for any organisation running junior programmes. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance that is recognised by any sporting body and valid for 5 years. The advantage of this in-house course over generic courses is that is facilitated by Ciarán Murphy who has over 20 years in the industry managing both Commercial Sailing Centres and Clubs throughout Ireland.

2. Disability Inclusion Training
This Course is for any club or centre who would like to offer a fully inclusive chance for people with disabilities to participate in our Sport. The course is designed to introduce sailors, volunteers, instructors and committee / staff members to the making our sport more accessible to all. The course may be ran in a 1 hour PowerPoint Presentation, 3 hour Classroom with Practical Simulations or over the course of the day with an on water session included.

3. Cara na Mara Workshop
The new ISA Youth Sailing Programme – Cara na Mara is designed to introduce 7 to 10 year olds to sailing. The Workshop will outline the syllabus, show how it integrates with the Small Boat Sailing Scheme and runs through how a club can run a programme. The course is applicable to instructors, volunteers, and committee / staff members. It may be tailored to facilitate each organisations needs such as a 1 hour costing / logistics for management and 2 hour practical for instructors and normal takes 3hrs to get through everything.
